Today we are shipping release 1.9 of the ConnectaSec panel. It is a good moment to review what changed between May and September 2026, because these have been five months with a lot of groundwork and plenty of visible news.

1. ConnectaSec NSA: free network analysis

The biggest block of the period. What we used to call "assessment" has been ConnectaSec NSA since 31 August, with its own identity.

Tunnel-free analysis agent: signed installer, runs as a Windows service and updates itself through its own channel.
Full LAN discovery: per-subnet sweep with resume, on/off switch and adjustable pace. A /24 went from 21 min 30 s to 6 min 8 s, and the office probe from 5 min 33 s to 1 min 6 s.
Device catalogue: recognises switches, routers, NAS and QNAP, cameras, IPMI/iDRAC, Proxmox, ESXi, iLO and Kubernetes Ingress, and shows them with name, MAC and vendor instead of a bare IP.
Security score 0–100 with a colour band and the reason behind every point: reachable Telnet/FTP/VNC, antivirus, BitLocker, Secure Boot, disk, Windows version and edition, pending critical updates.
A report for non-technical readers: verdict first, a drawn network diagram with the router and the links, plus a legend. Composed on the server and delivered as PDF.
"What changed this week": comparison between two snapshots, weekly score history and trend, with a stated methodology.
Self-service sign-up: public four-step web registration, email verification, terms of use, installer download with the customer code embedded in the file name, and direct access to the panel.

2. Gateways in multiple countries

Deployed in minutes from the panel: pick country and region, watch the progress on screen and the gateway is ready. Available from any panel: admin, reseller and customer.
From 1 to more than 30 locations: the country catalogue has grown from a single location to over thirty, with a collapsible per-continent picker and a map to choose at a glance.
Internet egress per country: add or remove exits in the country you need, so your services see traffic coming from the right place.
No infrastructure to manage: no servers to build or maintain. The panel handles it and you just decide where you want to be.

Every customer still runs on their own dedicated gateway, contracted from EUR 40/month.

3. Apps on every platform

iOS: on the App Store, linked from the panel.
Android: on Google Play (com.connectasec.ipn).
macOS: .pkg package with its own release channel.
Windows: the GUI minimises to the tray, reconnects robustly, translates connection errors into a cause users understand, and detects Defender's real protection state, not just whether it is installed.
New Downloads tab in the panel, separating apps from tools, with catalogue and PROD/DEV channel.

4. Compliance: ENS and ISO/IEC 27001

Control evidence report: 10 ENS measures (with system category) and 10 ISO/IEC 27001:2022 controls.
Each measure comes with the actual evidence behind it (current access policy, endpoint posture, access decisions, identity history), not a ticked box.
Sealed PDF: UUID and SHA-256 in the headers, scoped per customer and date window, in Spanish, Catalan and English. The document explicitly states it is not a certification of conformity.
Scheduled reports, with limits depending on the contracted product.

5. Integrations

CrowdStrike Falcon: connection with encrypted credentials, hosts and detections with pagination and sorting, configurable filters, detection detail and its own tab in the device record.
Microsoft 365 / Intune: tab in the node detail and a configuration screen.
SentinelOne and NextDNS integrated into the catalogue and pricing.
ConnectaBox on OpenWrt: an entry-level router can now act as a ConnectaBox, with installation and firewall managed from the panel.

6. Operational security

Security cases: group alerts by inactivity gap, with shared state, attribution and a 30-day window. Email notice when one is created.
Reversible containment: isolate and release a device from the case itself, with role-based guardrails and escalation to a human ticket.
Access decision log: what was allowed or denied, with the rule that decided it and the proximity analysis.
Identity history: who was using the device when the alert fired, not who has it now.
Investigation panel: one timeline joining seven sources.
Limit of 5 devices per user, also enforced in the periodic sync.
The agent signs what it sends and the updater verifies the collector certificate.

7. Panel experience

Multilingual (Spanish, Catalan, English) with a flag selector, now reaching gateways, provisioning, reports and error messages.
Restructured sidebar, unified between customer and reseller.
Welcome tour for new accounts and a "Pricing and contracting" screen with rates served from the server.
Hardware inventory in each device record.
MFA recommended on free accounts.

The commercial model does not change: from €5/month per user, with up to 5 devices included, plus a dedicated gateway from €40/month.
